The new UIS Student Union will be the social heart of campus for students.  A place where students, friends, and faculty can collaborate.  E.L. Pruitt Co. began work on the new building in the fall of 2016. Our company provided a number of trades for the 52,500 square foot LEED certified project.  With nearly 70,000 pounds of ductwork, our BIM division was able to design a 3D project for our sheetmetal installation within tight quarters.  Sysque Fabrication was used to streamline the installation. 

Along with the ductwork installation, our plumbing and BIM divisions completed and coordinated the plumbing installation.  This included interior plumbing, a site water main, and sewer and gas services.

The fire protection division also installed a new sprinkler system according to NFPA13 guidelines.
