E.L. Pruitt Co. was honored to be a part of Springfield Memorial Hospital's state-of-the art Patient Care Towers addition along with a main lobby remodel.  The addition (to what was then called Memorial Medical Center) consisted of three new patient care floors that connected to existing floors of an 8 story adjoining patient care building.  A pre-fabricated mechanical rack was designed and installed which in turn, sped the process of completion by about 3-4 months.  All patient rooms had brand new plumbing systems installed, we extended the existing sanitary waste and vent risers from the 2nd floor up through the new addition.  New gas mains and domestic water mains were extended from the existing central plant.  All of the work was completed while the hospital carried on everyday business.
